The long winter settles in and we forget how now is the perfect time to cosy up with boozy warming drinks and spend long mornings with friends and family at a (gin-filled) brunch. We’ve chosen some of our favourite London brunches for the season…
Falling off the wagon at Jones & Sons
We all love a bottomless brunch don’t we? But Jones & Sons know what January can be like. They’ve created an “off the wagon” menu full of Prosecco, Bloody Mary’s and Bucks Fizz, or an “on the wagon” with unlimited coffee and mocktails. Let’s be clear, ordering a Brockmans French 75 still qualifies as being on the wagon. Because moderation. Match it with Eggs Royale…

Saturday Grind at London Grind
London Grind
Start Saturday’s trip to Borough Market with a Brockmans Collins and raw breakfast salad. It’s the retox you need before stuffing your face at the market.
Where? 2 London Bridge, London, SE1 9RA

Go vegan this January at Boulestin
A vegan breakfast burrito is just the thing for those of you taking part in London’s meat-free January movement. Often a squeeze of orange gives a burrito that extra kick, so we’re going for a Brockmans Negroni here. There’s 25% off your bill in January so go on, 2 Negronis please.
Where? 5 St. James’s Street, London SW1A 1EF

All Day Sundays at The Mitre
Saturdays at Mitre are always bottomless. Sundays are more sensible, unless you do brunch and a Sunday Roast… What makes it lovely in the winter is their light indoor terrace. Start with granola, organic yogurt & lavender honey, then G&T until it’s roast time.
Where? 40 Holland Park Ave, London W11 3QY

A bit of hygge at Lisa’s Kitchen & Bar
Since hygge is in, be a trendsetter with brunch at Lisa’s. A light and airy Scandinavian café, you’ll either go sweet with Frasvåfflor (crispy Swedish waffles) or full on with the Full Swedish. Once you’ve warmed up, ask for Brockmans neat, it’ll help you brave the crowds on Portobello Road.
Where? 305 Portobello Road, London W10 5TD

Start your weekend early at Ben’s Canteen
Brunch runs from Friday to Sunday at Ben’s Canteen because three-day weekends should be standard. Order the Nutella & Berry French Toast because it’ll make your Black n’Blue worth it. We won’t tell what that is…
Where? Battersea 140 St. John’s Hill, SW11 1SL or Earlsfield 422 Garratt Lane, SW18 4HW

Explore London’s largest gin bar at Holborn Dining Room
The plush red booths couldn’t be any more ‘us’. With their newly opened Gin Bar featuring over 400 gins and 27 tonics, we suggest going for a hearty brunch before spending the day at the bar. Brunch doesn’t begin until noon anyways, so you may want to forgo the chai spiced French toast for a dozen oysters. We always enjoy the corned beef hash with fried duck egg, washed down with Brockmans In-Fashioned.
